The New York Healthcare Insurance Company Risk Retention Group (NYHCRRG) provides a risk management-driven solution to the volatility created by traditional carriers writing business in the liability marketplace.
The program’s founders believe that through careful selection, pricing, and servicing of like-minded long-term care organizations, the NYHCRRG will be a consistent, stable, and permanent home for liability insurance protection.
Become an Owner
With the NYHCRRG, members have the opportunity to become an owner of the program through the capitalization requirement. As an owner, each NYHCRRG insured is sharing risk with other owners with the same vested interest in the program’s success. This common desire for the success of the program encourages owners to place an ever-greater emphasis on quality.
The Program Provides:
- Per occurrence limits of $1,000,000 with a $3,000,000 annual aggregate in separate policies for Nursing Home Professional and General Liability
- Optional coverage for the risk of sexual abuse
- Access to higher limits of liability for those members that are required to provide it
- Excess of loss reinsurance from several carriers, including Lloyds of London, rated A (excellent) XV from A.M. Best
